Andrew, a meticulous civil engineer, built a state-of-the-art professional home studio with design help from the world-renowned John Brandt (Home – Jhbrandt).

The final product: A comfortable 6ft X 8ft room
with a whisper quiet HVAC system; heated floors; treated walls, floor and
ceiling; a height adjustable desk and extra-large monitor; with JBL studio
speakers; along with mood lighting, video camera and green screen capability.

All this to produce superb professional studio quality recordings with an STC
rating of 65.2 and at a noisefloor of -69.6dB.

The build was completed in approximately 20 days of work and is shown in the
below YouTube videos that give details of the construction process and
material used to achieve the final product.

Andrew uses a Universal Audio Volt1-76 interface with an AKG-614 microphone
for his recordings and edits them with Sennheiser HD 280 Pro Headphones and
JBL 3MkII studio speakers.
